Human rights act §2
Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.
The Raindrop Foundation’s vision is a world where children and grownups have the possibility to fulfil their dream and ambitions – a world were all people, young and old are respected as individuals and where their human rights are protected and upheld.
The Raindrop Foundation will work in new and old areas of disasters, poverty and human suffering. Where others have forgotten, we don’t forget.
We don’t want to tell people how they should live their life. The Raindrop Foundation strives to do what we can to make children and adults make the decisions they feel are the best for themselves and their environment. People who are in control of their everyday life become more creative and independent than people who are bereft of this opportunity. The Raindrop Foundation doesn’t believe we can change the world on our own, but with a little help from our friends and people who care, we believe that positive will, effort and cooperation, contributes to make the world a better place for all living beings. Nothing could be more worthwhile.
